We fund as many people as our donors allow, so awards are limited and we can't fund every application. Applying costs you nothing but ten minutes, and the coaching is yours either way.

  • Certification exam vouchers — Security+, Network+, CySA+, cloud fundamentals, Splunk, and equivalents
  • Hands-on training platform subscriptions with labs and practice exams
  • A second exam attempt, if the first one didn't go your way
  • Renewal fees and continuing education for credentials at risk of lapsing
  • Basic home lab hardware, where that's the real obstacle
  • Registration and local travel for security conferences and chapter events

Who can apply

  • Anyone pursuing a career in IT or cybersecurity. No degree required, no age limit, no prior experience needed.
  • You tell us the role you're aiming at and why this certification gets you closer.
  • You commit to a target exam date. We'll check in — not to police you, but because people who set a date pass more often.
  • One award per person per year, so the fund reaches as many people as possible.

Our directors, officers, and their family members are not eligible. That's a rule we don't bend.
